It's a Wild West birthday at Felicia Suzanne's where martinis on Friday afternoons are 25 cents.
Felicia Suzanne’s, the upscale Southern restaurant at the corner of Main and Monroe, is throwing a party this week to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.
Chef Felicia Willett is rolling out special menus through Saturday, including tonight’s four-course vegan/vegetarian dinner paired with sustainable wines from Oregon and California. The dinner is $55 per person, plus $35 for wine pairings, and 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Project Green Fork.
On Friday, a classic Creole dinner begins with Ramo’s Gin fizz and oysters served on the restaurant’s charming fountain patio. The dinner is $65 per person plus $35 for wine pairings. Some of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Streetdog Foundation.
For a less expensive way to party, stop by the restaurant’s Friday-only lunch and order a 25-cent martini or splurge and order two. Don’t you love the idea of putting a quarter on the counter for a drink? Stick around for lunch because the spring menu includes some delicious new options: a crispy Gulf Oyster salad with buttermilk green onion dressing and Benton bacon croutons; shrimp ravigote salad with fresh asparagus, oven-roasted tomatoes and baby greens; and organic chicken and caramelized onion enchiladas, which are drizzled with cilantro cream and topped with avocado.
The celebration continues Saturday evening with a four-course dinner featuring all Oregon wines including selections from Adelsheim, Argyle, and Elk Cove. The dinner is $100 per person and some of the proceeds will benefit MIFA.
Guests also may order from the restaurant’s regular menu Thursday through Saturday unless the dinners sell out. Call the restaurant to check or to make dinner reservations: 901-523-0877.
