Mention that you’ve made a video taking viewers behind the scenes of a fashion shoot, and there’s always going to be somebody who will think it will show scantily clad models in their dressing rooms. Sorry, guys, but this isn’t a Victoria’s Secret catalog.
What we do show is all the coordinated effort that goes into this feature — from the photographer, the stylist, the makeup artists, the various assistants, and yes, the models themselves. The result may look glamorous, but folks, it’s hard work.
And what this video will also show is a bit of the magic that went into “Sizzle in the City” because — oh, let’s just give away the secret here — even though the models look like they are photographed at various Memphis landmarks, the truth is they never left the photographer’s studio in the basement of our offices downtown.
