Young Women Philanthropists, an auxiliary of the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis, hosted its second annual Modern Day Women’s Conference on March 8th. The day-long event, held at the Garrett Auditorium on Baptist Memorial Hospital’s Memphis campus, was designed to empower, engage, and educate women age 25-45 by assisting them in their civic, community, business, and personal journeys. Many of Memphis’ leading women professionals presented workshops on entrepreneurship, networking, personal branding, healthy living, and more. The Women’s Foundation was established in 1995 to encourage philanthropy and foster leadership among women and to support programs that enable women and children to reach their full potential.
