Bestselling author and Memphis native Hampton Sides was in Memphis for a three-night fundraising event benefiting the Memphis Public Library and Information Center. To kick off the fundraiser, an elegant garden party, billed as "Chapter 1," was held on April 25, 2013, at the beautiful East Memphis home of Pallas and Phil Zanone at which guests were able to spend one-on-one time with Sides. Memphis magazine was a sponsor of this very special series of gatherings and we are also proud to note that early in his illustrious career, Hampton Sides was a writer on the staff of this magazine.
