Several writers and designers at Memphis magazine and our sister publication, the Memphis Flyer, have been named finalists in the 2011 Green Eyeshade Excellence in Journalism Awards. Conducted by the Atlanta chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Green Eyeshades salute the best work produced by newspapers, magazines, and other media in an 11-state Southern region.
