Tell Vance Lauderdale (above) what you think of him.
Our colleague Vance Lauderdale (posed so smugly at left) operates under the bizarre delusion that more than a dozen people not only read his monthly ramblings, but even like to hear what he says in his "Ask Vance" column. Well ... maybe they do, maybe they don't.
But we're tired of taking his word for it. So now's your chance to tell us what you read in our magazine, what you like and don't like, and what you'd like to see more of.
To that end, we've created a Memphis Magazine Online Reader Survey: just spend about five minutes checking off a few pages of boxes, and you'll be entered to win one of five $100 Folk's Folly gift certificates. Every survey-taker will also receive a $5 off coupon code good for renewing your existing subscription or ordering a new subscription.
That's a pretty good reward for telling us what sections of the magazine you "usually," "sometimes," or (watch out, Vance!) "never" read. What's more, we're curious about a wide variety of topics we cover, from history to business, fashion to food, and we want to know if you think we are covering them "too much," "just right," or "not enough." (For some reason, that part of the survey always reminds us of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears.")
Don't wait too long. We will draw at random for the five $100 Folk's Folly gift certificates on Monday, August 1st, and winners will be notified by phone and/or email.
It's easy. Fun even! The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete (though feel free to take your time with the "comments" box), and will be available online through Friday, July 29th. On behalf of the staff, we'd like to thank you in advance for your feedback about Memphis magazine! We think we're doing a good job here. Tell us how we can do even better.
