Enjoyed your article on Katie Couric. It points out that we have theatricalized the network news process. Folks who used to just read the news to us now command salaries in the millions and have become super stars. Ah, for the good old simpler, less spinning days. Keep up the good work on a good magazine. ~ Bill Bagwell

I wanted to take a moment to write and congratulate you on your wonderful publication. I am a lifelong Memphian and longtime downtown resident who has enjoyed your magazine for years. I have meant to write many times to express my thanks but somehow never found the time. The final catalyst to have me write was the recent news of Chris Parnell's release from SNL. Chris and I were childhood friends and schoolmates growing up together back in Whitehaven. I have many fond memories of the two of us laughing our heads off watching SNL back in the Akroyd/Belushi era. I never dreamed at the time that life would come full circle and I would be laughing just as hard at my old friend on the show. Life so often comes down to timing and I wanted to let you know how pleased I am that you did the recent cover story on Chris. It was a great article and I am so glad that it was published. Over recent years I have lost contact with Chris, but I plan to reach out to his family this week to let them know how proud we still are of our hometown boy "done good," and that I have every confidence that his career will continue to entertain us all for years to come. Thanks again for the article and the great publication. Keep up the good work! ~ Jon C. Peacock
