Widespread Panic
Yesterday morning it was announced that Widespread Panic will return to Memphis for a summer concert. Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on Friday, April 1st, at 10 a.m. and will be available at all Ticketmaster locations in addition to the Ticketmaster website.
Formed in 1986 in Athens, Georgia, Widespread Panic have been touring on their mixture of southern rock, funk, and progressive rock for decades, sharing the stage with acts like Blues Traveler and Phish in the process. They’ve also toured with the Allman Brothers and have been in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame since 2008. If Widespread Panic’s last shows in Memphis are any indication, this one will probably get rowdy. Check out a few videos of Widespread Panic below, and remember that tickets go on sale Friday.
