The Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum and the Memphis Music Hall of Fame have announced the launch of a free Memphis Music App, the first App dedicated solely to Memphis music, past and present. The App is loaded with information and will work on both the Android and iOS systems. Developed by eBiz Solutions with support from ArtsMemphis, the Memphis Music App provides an extensive database for all Memphis music-related events, activities, and news. Both the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum and the Memphis Music Hall of Fame plan to incorporate the App in their guest experiences.
The new App has three main features: "Memphis Music Events," "Live Music Venues," and "Music Attractions." The Memphis Music Events feature will provide dates, times, and locations of music throughout the city. The Live Music Venues feature will provide tourists and locals with a comprehensive list of places to catch live music all over town, and the Music Attractions feature offers an in-depth description of various musical attractions around town.
The App also features a “finish the lyrics” section and a "Memphis Music Trivia” game for those wanting to increase their knowledge on the Bluff City’s dense musical history. The App is available now for free download.
