Me in Retro Grizz colors wearing a Brave Design (www.bravearrowjewelry.com) headdress, shirt by Memphicity Design (www.memphicitydesign.com), white jeans by BDG and my suede Pedro Garcia shoes from Joseph in Laurelwood. Last week's Best Dressed List...
Good Lord, that game y'all. As I write this, I am still dealing with my West Coast Play Off Hangover and loving it. What. A. Win. Thankfully, this Grizz fever has elevated the whole #GrizzGlam thing and fans are getting creative. Here are this week's Best Dressed Play Off Style Listers and Honorable Mentions. As promised, we are building up an arsenal of cool shwag for the over all Winner with the best style. These folks are living and breathing #GrizzGlam. Who's your favorite? Add your choice to the comments and help us decide who should be the Best Dressed Play Off #GrizzGlam Champ.
1. Anna Beth Studdard
This clever gal fashioned a tank out of growl towels. Way to work some ju-ju into your wardobe, lady! I cannot manage a sewing machine nor a thread and needle so this gal steals my heart and lands on this list with her massive skillz.
2. @jonmaybach
He's wearin' a kilt, y'all. Yep. He's that confident. Braveheart Grizz Cojones in plaid by Obey paired up with a Zbo ragland t-shirt. I love it.
3. Elizabeth Sullivan
This sweet little hottie has graced the pages of The Flyer Fashion editorials a couple of times. This time, she catches my eye as my favorite worlds collide-Grizz, Fashion, and The Grateful Dead. That IS a Dancing Grizz which officially makes the term, "GrizzHead" a word. The shirt is by www.letsgomemphis.com. That site actually has some of the very coolest old Memphis logo land candy I've ever seen. Check 'em out.
4. Sarah Stramel
Sarah is poppin' in an Adidas official roster tee from TNC Sports on 2829 Bartlett Blvd (near Stage). This intuitive gal paired it with a long cardi by Elan for some winning style.
Honorable mentions for the week go to:
Alexis Kraus and her gorge "All Heart" hand cut wooden necklace. It's absolutely beautiful and far more impressive in person. A great Mom's Day Gift, btw. Get it on her etsy page NOW before they're all gone.
Found Studio on Broad for curating the very best vintage in Grizz chic in 70's fabrics like terry cloth. They've even simplified the shopping and have a section of Oldie but Goodie items in Grizz colors for you to mix n match.
Spencer McLean's supa fresh designs are available at Oak Hall and worn here by the ever-fab Jeany and Anthony Dionne. This wiz has been designing Grizz shirts for several seasons and I have a few that are threadbare from so much use.
ShirtBrothers.com have some of the very hippest designs right now. A Cinco de Mayo/Day of the Dead Grizz? COMO? Si...although, every day this month is Grizz de Mayo... and the "Made in Memphis" shirt is super hot too. Other favs from their site are The General Lee (correct, Dukes of Hazzard) in Grizz colors with a 901 emblazoned on the side of the car and a "Grind Your Face Off" design that should totally be taking over the City by now.
You know I had to post some Chanel. My new beloved bag in navy lamb quilted suede flanked by Growl Towels is a simple DIY project that anyone can create at home just by using what's already there: purse in any Grizz color + growl towels + safety pins to secure those precious commodities.
C'mon, y'all. Let's go loco with the possibilities...it's the fargin' PlayOffs.
