A private reception was held at the Dixon for special guest Priscilla Presley, who was visiting Memphis during Elvis Week. Graceland’s Director of Public Relations, Kevin Kern, led a short question and answer session with Presley. The talented Brennan Villines was at the piano, and chef Elizabeth Heiskell provided the excellent hors d’oeuvres. Book orders were taken at the event for Shades of Elvis by Priscilla and photographer Christopher Ameruoso, who was also in attendance. The party was sponsored by William U. Weiss and William R. Eubanks.
