Delta Cruisers Car Club will be displaying more than 30 classic and customized hot rods this weekend.
Fans of hot rods, sports cars, and pick-up trucks, listen up! The Memphis International Auto Show cruises into the Cook Convention Center this weekend, bringing more than 250 cars, trucks, and SUVs for your viewing (and test-driving) pleasure. The event takes place this Friday, January 8th, through Sunday, January 10th.
Tickets are just $6 for senior citizens, members of the military, and children 12 and under, and $8 for adults. On Sunday, January 10th, children 12 and under get in free with a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or in person at the event.
Attendees will have an opportunity to test drive a selection of new vehicles at the Toyota Drive Center and at Gossett Motor Cars’ Ride & Drive station. To qualify for a test drive, registrants must be 18 years or older and a U.S. resident with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
From the press release: “This annual event offers consumers the chance to sit in the driver’s seats, inspect engines, kick tires, count cup holders, check trunk space, test drive vehicles, and take in that new car smell. With over 20 brands on display, attendees can compare their favorite vehicles from manufacturers such as Acura, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Jeep, and Buick all under one roof. Significant upgrades in safety, entertainment, and convenience features have made new models more sophisticated than ever. Whether you are in the market for a new vehicle, interested in the newest in-car technology, or just love cars – this automotive utopia is the place to be.”
In addition to a preview of the newest cars on the market, show goers will have a chance to see the “Hot Rod Experience,” courtesy of Delta Cruisers Car Club, where car aficionados can catch a glimpse of a unique collection of more than 30 classic and customized hot rods. Rare exotics from Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, courtesy of Gossett Motor Cars, will also be on view.
A selection of luxury exotic cars was on display at the 2015 Memphis International Auto Show and will be on show at this weekend’s event.
