Beautiful Meg, our model from May 2012, manages to still look good at MusicFest.
Memphis is not for sissies and MusicFest once again proved that Mother Nature is gonna have her way when we wanna have our way with some of the best live music around. Regardless, the crowd braved it, the artists rocked it, and everybody did their best to represent.
Also part of the routine is the party inside The Memphis Flyer tent, where one of our favorite photographers, Don Perry, shot festival-goers who were having a blast despite the Mud and the Rain and the Cold. Here are some of our Memphis proud:
All of this mash-up of fashion, music, and mud totally brings out the most creative revelers and artists. Capturing these elements were three of my other very favorite photographers working in Memphis right now: Ziggy Tucker, Joey Miller, and Bob Bayne. Thankfully, these fellas were roaming the crowds and snapping up magical moments — these are some of the best photos from MusicFest and very *special snaps* go to these guys for rocking it behind the lens.
Bob captures jukin', Vintage Trouble, and a really stylish furry gal. For more of his pics, check out www.bobbayne.com.
Joey cleverly shot everything in black and white and for more of his awesome shots, go to iamjoeymiller.com or on InstaGram iamjoeymiller.
Pure *magic* from Ziggy and The Black Keys, Public Enemy, and the crowd having their brains rocked out by Bassnectar. Follow Ziggy on InstaGram at Fomoloop. <<< FYI — today is his !!!*BIrtHdAy*!!!>>>
Memphians always delight me, and everybody in today's post really, really, delights me. Here's to Looking Good in Memphis even in the Mud and the Rain and the Cold. You people are amazing.
