I was on deck in the VIP Lounge of last week’s Memphis Fashion Week Night #1, and got some great face time with this year’s models, stylists, and the creators of Brave Design jewelry.
Pictured above, me and Mary Seay Taylor, co-creator of Brave Design. She’s wearing one of her superlative rock ’n roll caftans and I’m in my 1980’s Carolina Herrera silk dress with flowers on it. And chili peppers. And tons of Brave. If Mary and I were to ever record an album, this would be the cover and it would be called “Backstage Again Part 3.” It would be released only on vinyl and it would be a double album — with silly outtakes photos on the inside. And we have lots of those.
See below a few views from backstage, tucked away in a remote corner of the Annesdale Mansion where there was a herd of gazelle models, a thunderstorm, and a smoking ghost.
Special snaps also goes to Charlie Pappas for all of his help and many attempts to keep us in line.
