The summer is heating up. But you can cool down this weekend with a sampling of ice-cold margaritas at the Memphis Flyer’s first-ever Margarita Festival. The boozy event will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the Overton Park Greensward this Saturday, June 27th.
Tickets are $35 and include event entry and 15 margarita samples. Participating restaurants include: Happy Mexican, Babalu Tacos & Tapas, Swanky’s Taco Shop, RockHouse Live, Tin Roof Memphis, 3 Angels on Broad, Molly’s La Casita, The Blue Monkey, Rafferty’s, Agave Maria, Young Avenue Deli, The Slider Inn, Blind Bear, and more.
Festival attendees will vote on their favorite margarita, and a winner will be crowned at the end of the fest.
Entertainment will be provided by DJ Jordan Rogers, and food from Farm 2 Cart and Agave Maria will be available for purchase at the event. There will also be a cash bar serving full-sized drinks for those who are thirsty for more.
The event will be held rain or shine and is (of course) 21 and up. Ticket purchases benefit the Volunteer Memphis program of Leadership Memphis.
Tickets are going fast, so get yours now before the event sells out.
