There’s nothing like fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables and handmade sweets and goodies. Lucky for us, the Memphis Farmers Market 2015 season opens this weekend, April 4th, and will feature an array of local vendors offering all of the above and more.
The market showcases locally sourced produce and food and locally produced arts and crafts from a variety of Mid-South purveyors. Vendors include Bluff City Coffee, Claybrook Farms, Dickey Farms Mushrooms, Kent Walker Artisan Cheese, Jones Orchard, Mary’s Gluten-Free Goods, Whitton Farms, and many more. For a full list of opening day vendors, as well as the stall map, go here.
The Memphis Farmers Market is located at Central Station (G.E. Patterson and South Front Street) downtown. Beginning April 4th, the market will be open every Saturday through October from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is free and free parking is available adjacent to the market.
The weekly outdoor market not only features products from local farmers and artisans but also live music and fun activities for the whole family.
