John Lydon (known in some circles as Johnny Rotten) will be performing on Beale Street with his band Public Image Limited on Sunday, November 1st. The band will be touring their new album, What the World Needs Now. The New Daisy announced the concert late last week. Expect the two-and-a-half-hour concert to cover a massive amount of the band’s material. One can only hope that songs from First Issue and Flowers of Romance will be played.
Lydon has been a fixture in the U.K. since the Sex Pistols became a household name in 1975, and the outspoken author and front-man has appeared on numerous television shows in the U.S. and the U.K., in addition to publishing multiple autobiographies.
