
Memphis photographers, listen up! We’d like to see your best Memphis-centric photos.
This fall, Contemporary Media, Inc. (parent company of Memphis magazine, Memphis Parent, and the Memphis Flyer) will be producing a custom hardback photo journal on Memphis for the Greater Memphis Chamber. This 160-page book will consist of approximately 100 pages of editorial photography with approximately 60 pages of local sponsor profiles.
We invite Memphis photographers to submit images for this project. The images should represent a variety of Memphis experiences, from scenic to eccentric, gritty to glamorous. We’re looking for creative work that captures the essence and authenticity of Memphis, that showcases the people and places, seasons and events, flora and fauna, and attractions and landmarks that make Memphis unique.
To be considered, images must be high resolution (300 dpi at final reproduction size); RGB or greyscale; uncompressed JPEG file format.
A suggested image list includes shots of local museums, neighborhoods, sports and music venues, sports events, theaters, festivals, parks, college campuses, breweries, etc.
Memphis stock photo submission deadline is September 1, 2015.
