SCS was the first school system in West Tennessee to offer the world-class International Baccalaureate Program (Germantown High) and will start its second IB Program (Bolton High) in August 2011. Additionally, SCS will launch its first academies for rigorous study in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math at Bartlett and Southwind High Schools in August 2011.
