Gates will open at noon; admission is $10 and all proceeds will go to the John "Bad Dog" McCormack Trust, which provides educational and living expenses for "Bad Dog's" two sons.
Among the performers who will take the stage from 1 to 9:30 p.m.. are Jonezn; Young Guns; R.T. Scott; Tom, Dick and Harry; Dirt Brothers; Tora Tora & Hal McCormack; Todd Poole & 714; Black Oak Arkansas; and Jimi Jamison. All performers are donating their time.
A few days prior to the event, on Monday, August 22nd, a street sign unveiling ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Signs will be posted in front of the Ronald McDonald House, at Danny Thomas Boulevard and Alabama Avenue, honoring the Memphis icon.
