The Clarksdale Giant

Many years ago, I was on the floor of the Pyramid and found myself standing next to Pau Gasol. He was 7'1" and (this is unflattering, i know) but he looked like a human giraffe. Pity that Palmer lived in the same era as Robert Ladlow, still the tallest man ever, at 8'11". And never got the attention he deserved. Today, a Chinese fellow named Sultan has the living record, at a mere 8'1". Life is never fair.
