Next weekend, you can have fun with your friends while helping animals in need. The Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County will host its annual Bark After Dark event on Friday, April 17th, from 7 to 11 p.m. This year, in lieu of the usual nighttime bike ride , they’ll have a cocktail party at 409 South Main. The event will feature karaoke, dancing, and food and drink stations. Proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County, which rescues and rehabilitates injured and abused animals.
Admission is $40 per person or $75 per couple. Each regular admission includes seven tickets that can be used for activities or drinks at the party.

Additional activity/drink/auction tickets will be available for a $1 donation each .
A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $60 each and include access to next-door parking, an open bar (unlimited drinks), and 10 tickets.
The winning karaoke singer will get two three-day passes to the Beale Street Music Festival. Participants in the ticket auction will have a chance to win restaurant gift certificates, art, and other prizes.
